Termination of co-development agreements on HFT-290 (a tape for palliative care of cancer pain) and NS-126 (an agent for allergic rhinitis and asthma)

Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Inc. and Nippon Shinyaku Co., Ltd. announced today that the both companies have agreed to terminate the co-development of HFT-290 (fentanyl citrate preparation: Phase V ), a tape for palliative care of cancer pain, and NS-126 (new steroid preparation: preparation for Japanese NDA for allergic rhinitis), an agent for allergic rhinitis and asthma, to concentrate the R&D resources of each company on the therapeutic field where each company has strong expertise.

Hisamitsu will continue to develop HFT-290 independently, and Nippon Shinyaku will be assigned worldwide right of HFT-290 from Hisamitsu and develop it independently under the cooperation and assistance of Hisamitsu.
